wow i havent written on xanga for a while. probly too busy/lazy to do so. but first off. WHOA. how bout the giants pulling of the biggest upset in all of sports. nice seeing the patriots go down finally. now onto other stuff.
worship ministry is up and running and we had our first official meeting this past friday. it was great that kyle could lead us and give us a better sense of what worship is about and how our hearts should be when we lead. it's amazing to see how far everyone has come musically and spiritually. real blessing. i'm hoping that we can incorporate more contemporary ideas in worship services that will give people an opportunity to worship as they feel god leads them. it would be nice to attract other high schoolers as well especially since our senior class will be leaving a pretty big whole to fill.
all this interest in worship probly stemmed from wintervision after an AWESOME senior year. god really blessed me with a great cabin/cabin leader and we were able to bond quickly. not only that, but god allowed us to stay in touch to discuss whatever problems we have, joys, praises, even go over the screwtape letters which is a great book by the way. it seems to address a lot of struggles that christians endure.
as far as skool goes, i cant complain. in fact, i would say that wv instilled in me a sense that i can never complain knowing what jesus did for me on the cross. however, after turning a fatty thesis paper last week, it feels like things are pretty mellow now altho i need to prepare to discuss a poem this wednesday. which will be somewhat hard. otherwise all my other classes arent too bad. doing financial aid stuff for college. not bad at all. this was kind of quick, but i just felt like writing some stuffs before starting hw. time to do that.
